Privacy

Nitrosoft is not a real company — this site is part of NetGodz, a game, nothing on it is real and no goods will ever ship — and the practical consequence for your privacy is the simplest possible one: this website collects nothing about you at all.

There is no form on this site, anywhere. There is no account to create, no newsletter, no checkout, no payment field, no login and no support portal. We ask for no name, no email address, no postal address and no card details, because there is nothing here that could use them.

There is no analytics script, no advertising tag, no session recording, no fingerprinting and no third-party embed. The site sets no cookies and uses no local storage. It loads no fonts, images or scripts from anywhere other than the domain you are reading it on. Every page is a static file.

The web server that hosts these files keeps ordinary access logs — the requested page, the time, a browser user-agent string and the requesting IP address — as essentially every web server does. Those logs are used for keeping the site up and are not used to build any profile of you, are not shared with anyone, and are not combined with anything else.

The remainder of this page is written in character, as part of the game. It describes a fictional company’s fictional practices. It is not a real privacy policy for a real business, because there is no real business.

What Nitrosoft holds, in character

We hold a supply account per yard: an account reference, a delivery address for a loading bay, a credit balance, and the deck codes and serials despatched against it. That is the whole record. We do not hold a record of a person.

What we deliberately do not hold

  • Nothing from a deck. The runtime does not phone home. A deck reports nothing to us: not a resident set, not a fold ratio, not a trace figure, not an uptime, not a serial. If we want to know how a deck is performing in the field we have to ask you and you have to choose to answer.
  • Nothing from the SDK. No telemetry, no crash upload, no usage counting. A benchmark run writes a signed file to your disk and stops there. If you send us a run file, you sent it.
  • No signing keys. Keys generated with the SDK are yours. We never receive them, never escrow them, and cannot recover one for you.
  • No personal accounts. We sell to yards, not to people. There is nothing for an individual to register and therefore nothing about an individual to lose.

Support records

A written ticket is held against the yard account, with the deck code, the serial, the fault and whatever run files you chose to attach. Tickets are kept for four years so that a recurring fault can be traced across a generation, then deleted. A bench callback is not recorded.

Who else sees it

The carrier that moves a deck sees the loading-bay address. A component supplier handling a warranty board sees the serial and the fault. Nobody else sees anything, and we sell nothing to anyone.

Asking us

A yard’s supply desk can ask for everything held against its account and receive it in full, and can ask for a ticket history to be deleted early. We will not ask why.
